We recommend you successfully complete your DGCA CPL theory exams (Air Regulation, Navigation & Meteorology) before you commence your flight training. However, if you have not completed these exams, or are in the process of doing so, don’t worry – you are still eligible to apply. If your application is successful and you pass the selection process, we will offer you a place on the training program and allow you time to complete your DGCA CPL theory exams before you begin your flight training.
You must have:
You must hold a current and valid DGCA Class I Aviation Medical Certificate and obtain a US FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate before you commence your flight training.

It is in your best interest not to prepare for the online testing. It is designed to identify whether you have the basic aptitude to successfully complete your course of training with Skyborne. Preparing for the test will increase the risk of masking your true aptitude (natural ability to meet the competencies required to pass the course). However, having said that, you can look at the types of tests you will undergo by accessing the cut-e testing site at: https://assessment.aon.com/en-us/online-assessment/practice-assessments. These are not the exact tests you will be attempting, but they will give you an idea of what to expect.
You must be aged 18 on the first day of the selection process.
The advantage having completed the DGCA 3 exams (Navigation, Meteorology & Air Regulations) and having the Radio Telephone licence is that you can commence flight training in the next available course which we schedule every month. However, for all those of our selected cadets who haven’t completed the DGCA exams and the RTR, Skyborne can facilitate an introduction to our Flight Licence Conversion Partner in New Delhi.
